ABOUT

Steve and I are former educators who are fortunate to have retired at younger ages (55 and 56). We have had many adventures in our lives and are looking ahead to even more!  I am Jana, a former elementary school teacher and principal. who retired after 31 years. My husband Steve is a former high school teacher and media specialist who retired after 34 years.  Our adventure together began in February 1984 and we have loved being together every day since.  We are blessed with three wonderful children and spouses, and an amazing granddaughter.   Our lives are full of fun activities and frequent travel.  On Ankenbruck Adventures I will share some of our past adventures and travel lessons learned, as well as general travel hints and our plans for upcoming events.  I invite you to contact me with suggestions for our future adventures or let me know where you would like to travel and I can plan a trip for you -or we just might come along as well!
